Starting in April 2018, The Dining Center will offer Choose to Reuse™, a sustainable to go program. Students will have the option to purchase a reusable container and mug for $5 each through the cashier. The student will be given their container and/or mug to take their meal with them. On their next visit they will return their container to be washed and sanitized. If they are taking that meal to go, they will receive a new container. If they wish to dine-in for their next meal, they will receive a carabiner that acts as a token they will exchange the next time they want a to go container. Students are responsible for their purchased container, cup and carabiner. If the container, cup or carabiner is lost the student will have to purchase a new one to continue to partake in the program. The program runs semester to semester.
